Support Workers
We are looking for individuals who are alert, energetic & possess a positive attitude towards working with people with disabilities and their families. We want people with the right values and attitude.
Your role will be to actively support and promote a quality of life for people with a disability by providing quality services using person centred approaches that focus on developing a person’s potential to participate as independently as possible within their home and the community. It is a challenging, rewarding & fun role!
To be successful in this role you will have
- A contemporary attitude towards people with a disability
- Have current entitlements to work in Australia and Passport
- Hold a completed Certificate III or higher in either Disability or Home & Community Services
- Have a current First Aid certificate
- Working with Vulnerable Card and a National Police checks
- Creative ideas in supporting people with a disability to be included in the community
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Professionalism, positivity & flexibility
- Ability to work independently & as part of a team
- Intermediate computer skills &able to use company CRM Software
- Flexibility to work rotating rosters, including evenings & weekends
- Comprehensively insured car & valid Australian driver’s license
- Experience in supporting people with disability is desirable
- NDIS Screening check
- NDIS module certificate
- Covid 19 Vaccination
